Our instructor is Dorothy (Dottie) Moreland of Chambersburg, PA. Dottie has been a member of the Chambersburg Quilting Guild for over 20 years. She has been teaching the art of quilting for over 15 years. She has won numerous ribbons and awards for her quilts. Dottie will be teaching "Dresdemania", the stack-n-whack method of Dresden Plates in a two day hands-on workshop. The construction of Dresden Plates is quick and simple using rotary cutting and machine piercing shortcuts. We will provide a list of materials that you will need for the project. The weekend begins Friday night with an inform tive session to meet Dottie and plan the next two days. On Saturday and Sunday, after a restful night's sleep in our plush down feather beds, awake to a gourmet 3 course breakfast served in our sunny porch dining room. Then from 10am-1pm each day you will work with and learn from Dottie. You are encouraged to remain after class continue quilting at your leisure. The course fee also includes lunch and beverage on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. On Saturday night, Dottie invites all the students and their guests to a group dinner in Byron's Dining Room, our fine dining restaurant (not included in the course fee).
