International Wine and Food with Dick Bosstick


Dick lived in Northern Italy for 7 years and developed a keen knowledge and appreciation of the fine wines and food of Italy and Spain. He expanded his knowledge of wines from around the world as the proprietor of a fine wines shop in the Baltimore area. He also has experience as a cuinary guide. During these weekends he will lead us through an afternoon tasting of 6 to 8 wines from a specific country or region,explaining the history and flavors of the wines we sample. This is not a "stuffy wine session and by the time we sample all the wines we have become good friends looking forward to dinner together in the evening. This is a real fun event.

The Event:

An afternoon Wine tasting and education session with Dick Bosstick. Then Dick will join with our chef Dan Nowalk, a charter member of the Pennsylvania Culinary Society, to delight us with a 5 course Dinner" with wine pairings.

  • Saturday 2pm -Wine Tasting Session- 6-8 wines.

  • Saturday 8pm - Five course dinner from with Wine Pairings selected by Dick including a discussion of the wines chosen.

    Prices:

    $115 per person plus room - Requires overnight stay. Repeat Wine and Food Guests $105
