Bar with the fireplace and chairs in the old days

Before and After

While living in Prospect, the Byrons had three sons. In 1941, Iona passed away only to be followed by Harry shortly thereafter in 1948.  In 1954, the home was sold at auction for $26,000 and was converted into an Inn. You can still see the beautiful attribute of the time frame in the architecture of the building.

The Grand Lobby with a grand dual staircase can be transformed into a setting for a wedding ceremony or dancing.

The adjoining Tile Room (formerly the library) is a large bright, sunny room with a large fireplace that can be used for cocktails or dancing.

The Great Room is a large formal living room with a fireplace. This space is ideal for dinner or dancing.

Our Landscaped Grounds consists of 5 acres of mature trees, tiered lawns, an herb, and a flower garden.  There are several areas that can accommodate a large wedding tent for a lovely outdoor reception dinner.

The Marie Claire Room used to be a guest room for the Byron’s family. Now, it is one of the biggest guest rooms at the Inn with a fireplace.
